Kuopion Palloseura secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Lahti in Saturday's Veikkausliiga clash. The home side opened the scoring, putting them in control for much of the first half. Lahti, however, rallied after the break, finding an equalizer that briefly swung momentum in their favour and set up a tense final period. KuPS ultimately found a late winner, restoring their lead and holding on for all three points. This result strengthens KuPS's position near the top of the table, while Lahti will feel disappointed not to have capitalized on their second-half resurgence, missing an opportunity to climb away from the lower half.
